Divorce, Financial Orders and Form E
Support in Yorkshire

Divorce and financial paperwork can be some of the hardest parts of family court, especially if you’re representing yourself. I support people in Yorkshire to work through divorce and financial forms, stay organised, and prepare for key hearings.

Understanding Form A, Form E and Financial Hearings

What is Form A?
This starts the financial remedy process and asks the court to timetable the case.

What is Form E?
This covers full financial disclosure - income, property, debts, pensions.

What is an FDR Hearing?
This is the main negotiation stage with a judge giving guidance on settlement.

What is a Final Hearing?
This is where a judge makes a binding financial decision if no agreement is reached.

What is a Consent Order?

For people who’ve already agreed and just need it approved.

How I Can Help?

  • Talking through the divorce process so you understand the main stages and what the court expects from you.

  • Going through Form E with you so you understand what information is being requested.

  • Helping you organise documents and numbers in a clear, court-friendly way.

  • Supporting you to prepare for FDR and other financial hearings.

  • Sitting beside you at hearings to take notes and keep track of what’s been said and agreed.

Responsibility

You stay responsible for the accuracy of any financial information you provide.
My role is to help you organise and present it, not to give financial or legal advice.

My Approach

  • Child-focused and practical
