What is a McKenzie Friend?

A McKenzie Friend offers practical help before and during family court. They can guide you through your paperwork, help you prepare what you want to say, organise your documents, and make the steps ahead clearer.

In hearings, they sit beside you for quiet support, take notes, and help you stay focused. They can’t speak for you, but they make the process easier to manage and less isolating.
